Oh yeah, me and Roald are old friends.

Standard

Finally. I’m finished.

Last spring, I said I was going to read every Roald Dahl book. In case you don’t know, Roald Dahl was quite prolific. He even wrote novels for adults (which I decided were not part of the deal). I ended up reading 22 books, including 4 books of poetry, one collection of short stories, and his autobiography.

So here they are. All 22 books, in order from favorite to least favorite.

1. James and the Giant Peach
2. The BFG
3. Fantastic Mr. Fox
4. The Witches
5. Matilda
6. Danny the Champion of the World
7. Vile Verses
8. Rhyme Stew
9. The Vicar of Nibbleswicke
10. The Giraffe and Pelly and Me
11. Esio Trot
12. The Magic Finger
13. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
14. The Minpins
15. George’s Marvelous Medicine
16. The Twits
17. The Enormous Crocodile
18. More About Boy
19. Dirty Beasts
20. Revolting Rhymes
21. Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator
22. Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar and Six More
